To bring in ‘Agri-Revolution’ across all the LGAs in Nigeria

C-LAP is a highly specialized mission to enable poor rural people to overcome poverty. Our overarching goal is to help them improve their lives by building farm and non-farm enterprises that are viable, sustainable and integrated into national and global markets and value chains. Such enterprises generate economic growth in rural areas, raise incomes and increase employment opportunities.

The Project will be implemented over a 5-year period. Initial activities will include recruitment of staff. In each LGA procurement of five tractors with implements/farm machinery etc will be made. One Integrated Model/Demonstration forms (5-20 ha. each) will be established.  It will also mediate in managing farmers field & imparting training as well as do-how to the farmers

The Portal provides updated information relating to agricultural situation in Nigeria. The static information is about  Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Integrated Farm Management, Organic Farming, Agri-Infrastructure- related (storage, warehousing, cold storage, grading and packing facilities), Market – related (market handling, supply-value chain market development programs, Mega Food Parks), Food Standards, Grading, Labeling, Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary Meaasures, Capacity Building, Training Programs etc.

Reports of important research studies, biannual and annual progress reports from each LGA, which are progressively being published for public access for facilitating direct interaction. You can also read latest Research Papers, Journal Articles, Books, and Magazines. It will also have E-mail addresses and other relevant details of the agencies involved in C-LAP

The main users of C-LAP website are Governors, LGAs Chairpersons, Central Bank of Nigeria, Bank of Agriculture, Bank of Industry, Research Institutes FAO, UNIDO, CGIAR International Institutions, Consortium Members, Investing Public, Farmers, Rural Youth, Students, Researchers, Faculty Members, Scientists, Industry Representatives, Employers, Policy Strategists and Law Makers.
